Holiday Closures and Reduced Service
St. Lawrence County Public Transit is NOT in service on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Easter Sunday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Black Friday
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Routes #67 (SUNY Potsdam), #68 (Clarkson), and #69 (SUNY Canton) are in service from August to May each year and NOT in service in June and July.
Routes #67, #68, and #69 have additional reduced service dates throughout the year to align with the college academic calendars. The weekend/holiday schedule will be used for the following holidays and time periods:
- Before student move-in day (regular service begins Mon, Aug 24, 2026)
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving week
- Winter recess:
- Clarkson: Mon, Dec 14 to Fri, Dec 31
- SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam: Mon, Dec 20 to Fri, Dec 31
- Spring recess:
- SUNY Canton & Clarkson: March 15 to March 19. Reg svc resumes Mon, Mar 20
- SUNY Potsdam: Mar 29 to Apr 2. Reg svc resumes Mon, Apr 5
- After spring final exams:
- Clarkson: Wed, May 5 to Fri, May 28 (last day of svc)
- SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam: Mon, May 17 to Fri, May 28 (last day of svc)
