UPDATE FOR APRIL 17, 2020

SLC Public Transit

      St. Lawrence County Public Transit

April 17, 2020

St. Lawrence County Public Transit will continue waiving fare collection until June 1st for customers needing to travel for essential purposes. Routes in operation are listed at http://slcnypublictransit.com/transit-schedules. Due to Governor Cuomo's last Executive Order, all riders must wear a mask to use the bus. Unfortunately, anyone without a mask or using a covering that goes over the nose and mouth will not be allowed to use Public Transit. Guidance on how to use and make a mask is here (CDC Download).

We also would like to remind our riders to stay home if sick or answer yes to one of the following questions:

  • Is this trip critical or can it be rescheduled in a few weeks?
  • Have you had a fever, cough, or shortness of breath in the last 14 days?
  • Have you left St. Lawrence County in the last 30 days?
  • Have you been in known contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19?

People who require access to essential services who do not have access to Public Transit may fill out this form to request assistance: https://form.jotform.com/200817539196159. Customers may also call the Public Transit at 315-386-2600 and staff are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Essential Services include food shopping, pharmacy, medical appointments, and employment.
